Tracking time on the websites in version 7.0 of LanAgent software.

In the new version of LanAgent Standard 7.0, network module optimizations were made, the list of controlled services was expanded. In addition, when intercepting sites visited by the user, tracking of the time spent on each of them is also carried out.

In comparison with version 6.x, the following changes have been implemented:

• Network sniffer unit has been improved.
• Expanded list of controlled services.
• Tracking time spent on web sites feature added.

LanAgent track time both for each web site and for categories of web sites.

After reviewing the reports, you can see for example, Mike spent 3 hours 10 minutes on the facebook, 42 minutes on the dating site, and 1 hour and 8 minutes on the corporate portal.

Or you can view the report by categories of sites and find out how many hours are spent on web sites related to work, and how many are in the Entertainment category.

How to update your LanAgent Standard to 7.0

To get started, we recommend to check if you have a free update to 7.x. The update is free within 12 months from the date of purchase.

Technically, the update process (from old versions) is:

• Download the LanAgent 7.x from our website.
• Install LanAgent admin application over the old one.
• Run the LanAgent Admin application with Administrator rights and the database will be updated.
• Activate LanAgent Admin with your activation key.
• Reinstall agent tracking modules on monitored computers.
